On 6 November 2018 a joint regional meeting was held by EUCNC and EIP in Tirana to discuss Belt and Road initiatives for the Central and Eastern European Region. Mr Ilirjan Koxhioni and Mr Johnason Xie Jianzhong, along with Ms. Maggie Wong and Mr Glen Cremer presented to the joint team how best the Belt and Road can promote Trade, Culture and Investment between China and the Region when taking the Region’s needs and features into account.
The special guest was Mr. Etjen Xhafaj, the Albanian Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
