Chery Commercial Vehicles and Euroasia Investment Partners signed a strategic agreement under which EIP would bring Chery Commercial Vehicles’ electric-vehicle range to the 17+1 region.

Chery Commercial Vehicles is part of Chery Holdings and manufactures a broad range of vehicles, including passenger cars, micro cars, trucks, medium and large passenger vehicles and specialised vehicles. Its commercial range includes tractor units, dump trucks, box vans, cargo trucks, concrete mixers, refrigerated trucks, buses, MPVs, pickup trucks and ambulances.

EIP Chairman Ilirjan Koxhioni said the 17+1 automotive market is increasingly open to new competitors that can combine innovation with rigorous quality and safety standards. He said Chery’s technology, quality focus and range of electric vehicles could offer fleet operators and consumers new options while contributing to changes in the region’s transport sector.
