Following an earlier meeting on Chinese outbound tourism to the European 17+1 countries, Euroasia Travel Experts and Euroasia Investment Partners presented a formal cooperation proposal to the Hong Kong Association of China Travel Organisers (HACTO).
The proposal was accepted, and HACTO decided to proceed with the 17+1 outbound tourism program, with launch preparations and the first tourist arrivals expected to follow.

Ilirjan Koxhioni said Chinese tourism to Europe had been concentrated for years on a limited number of well-known Western European destinations, contributing to an imbalance in tourism development. He argued that increasing demand for cultural and leisure travel creates an opportunity for the 17+1 region to attract Chinese visitors through distinctive experiences and less saturated destinations.
